pain eases

I have the beginning of a migraine. The left side is pulsating, the back of my head and neck are searching for answers. Yet again, damn serotonin.

The pain is actually welcome tonight. Dulls the other pain that plagues me. It's a bit better. I don't feel like someone kicked me in the stomach, but the questions might never be answered, so why bother. It's amazing how you can become lost. Drunkenly lost. Glass half-full lost.
Reminds me that I am still here, alive and feeling, face in the sun.

Tonight, the pain eases, with pain. Tomorrow, the pain may return, but I will prevail. Even through my empathic ways.

Dreams

hunger attack

If it could be this easy. Serotonin is a tricky some. Makes you highhhhh as your mind is capable. But, can cause havoc in your body- migraines and vertigo. There is a big one tho. One that serotonin is famous for........

In this world it's called depression. It could also be sensitive or intuitive emotional. Either way, medication is often prescribed. To insure it's effectiveness don't drink or do drugs. Oh, and if you are horny, better up the dose. Can't have tooooo much fun while we are at it.

Don't get too comfy with your clothes, cause your weight just might go up and up. But, remember it's for the common good. No need to have non-neurotically people out on the prowl. Could get sticky.

Every once in awhile you can skip a pill. Feel the rush, the emotions that are all too human. Night filled with acid-like color dreams that transport the mind to other realms.

tsk tsk

hmmm, I guess I am being a good girl. I am hungry.

with or without dreams

I dream in color. I remember most of a dream, especially the taste and emotion. I miss dreaming. Don't get me wrong, I still dream. However, most are less focused, and in the morning a fog of memory.

I miss a pill. I have a vivid dream. It is bad to miss one. Maybe. Sometimes I fall asleep with G. Or I am so tired I just fall into bed. Most nights tho I do take the pill. I sleep a deep, usually dreamless night. The residue is faint; I know it's cerebral and waiting to be pulled out.

The pill regulates serotonin. Helps me sleep instead of anxiously riding out the night, and sometimes, morning. I am thankful for this low dose of regulation, it could be higher, or more pills. In my family more pills is a possibility.

But I digress. Family another time. Dreams, with or without, now. Tonight I want to dream. See the world in a different reality. My reality in my head. Is that the real world? The waking world a dream? Certainly the Aborigines of Australia understand that world view. If that's so, am I just stuck in a dream world with no way to get back?

I'll tell you something though. I do wake-up with a song in my head most days. Some songs I dislike so much I find it unimaginable I am singing it. Today, no song. Day before, "and so castles made of sand fall in the sea eventually."

Tonight will be yet another episode of my brain and the serotonin balance. Hmmm, will I wake with or without dreams?
